The CDM Board is monitoring the weather situation that may impact some areas of North Carolina this weekend. We have put in place a contingency plan in the event that Hurricane Matthew causes a problem for our Educational Weekend scheduled on October 8th. Our main concern is for the safety of all the dancers and members who may be planning to attend.
Contingency: We will reschedule the event to Saturday, October 15th with all times remaining the same. Should any of our Title Holders or Jr Members be unable to attend, they will not be penalized. A video of the choreography will be sent to all of their teachers and an additional rehearsal will be scheduled at Convention.
CDM will be in a holding pattern until the forecast is more certain and a final decision will be made by Friday, October 7th at 12pm.

The Preliminary entries for Petite only will be extended for one week September 12th through September 16th due to receiving only one application for Petite. Please encourage your students that may have wanted to compete but had not made up their minds before the September 1st deadline. Dance Comp Genie will reopen tomorrow. All these entries will be considered new on DCG. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you September 23rd at the Preliminaries.

There were 34 Junior Audition participants and 27 Senior Audition participants. The level of talent was fantastic and our judges commented on how talented our students are at CDM.
